Andso, in what now seems like an inevitable course-correction, “No Time to Die” is a story about the need to leave certain things behind. It’s the modern spy movie equivalent of

No Time to Die is the twenty-fifth film in the James Bond series produced by EON Productions for Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer via United Artists Releasing. Like several previous films, No Time To Die was written by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade and features actor Daniel Craig in his fifth and final performance as James Bond as Craig stated he will not return as Bond in the future.[10] The film is directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, was released on September 30, 2021 in the United Kingdom and other countries,[8] and was released on October 8, 2021 in the United States.[9] Plot A young Madeleine Swann witnesses the murder of her mother by the terrorist Lyutsifer Safin whom she shoots in retribution. Swann flees onto a nearby frozen lake after he awakens and she falls through the ice. Safin chooses to save her. In the present, Swann is in Matera, Italy with James Bond following the capture of Ernst Stavro Blofeld. After some persuasion, Bond visits Vesper Lynd's tomb to seek forgiveness and finally bring closure to her death. The tomb is blown up and Bond is ambushed by SPECTRE assassins. Bond accuses Swann of betraying him to the organisation and leaves her on a train telling her they will never see each other again. Five years later, MI6 scientist Valdo Obruchev is kidnapped from an MI6 laboratory. Obruchev has developed Project Heracles, a bioweapon containing nanobots that spread like a virus upon touch. Coded to specific DNA strands, they are only dangerous if programmed to an individual's genetic code. Bond has retired to Port Antonio, Jamaica where, after years of being out of service, he is contacted by the CIA agent Felix Leiter, who is accompanied by Logan Ash, a fellow American agent. They ask for help in tracking down Obruchev, but Bond refuses. That night Bond is tracked down by a woman named Nomi, who has succeeded him as the new 007; she tells him about Project Heracles. Bond contacts M and reproaches him; the nanobot project had been commissioned by M. Bond subsequently accepts Leiter's request for help. Bond, Leiter, and Ash fly to Cuba and meet Paloma, another CIA agent allied with Leiter. Bond and Paloma infiltrate a SPECTRE meeting with the aim of retrieving Obruchev, but instead, they walk into a trap. Using a bionic eye to see and communicate while still in custody, Blofeld orders Bond to be killed by the nanobots. Instead, all of the SPECTRE members are killed as Obruchev had reprogrammed the nanobots to destroy the organization per Safin's orders, something which both Bond and Blofeld didn't expect. Bond extracts Obruchev to a boat to meet with Felix and Ash, who turns against them as he is in league with Safin. Ash shoots Leiter and destroys the boat before escaping with Obruchev via plane that Ash stole from Bond. Bond gets away to safety, but Leiter dies from his injuries. Moneypenny takes Bond to see Q and gain him the opportunity to meet and speak with Blofeld to find out where Obruchev has been taken with the nanobots. However, Safin visits Madeleine and blackmails her into infecting herself with the nanobots. As Madeleine has been the only person in contact with Blofeld since his imprisonment, he instructs her to infect Blofeld. Bond encounters Madeline in the cell, where he touches her on the hand and unknowingly infects himself. A horrified Madeleine leaves the cell. When Bond meets Blofeld, the latter reveals that he deliberately staged the ambush in Matera five years earlier to make it look as if Madeline had betrayed him. Angered by this revelation, Bond attacks Blofeld and unknowingly infects him with the nanobots, killing Blofeld just as Safin planned. Upon realizing what happened, Bond tracks Madeleine down to her childhood home in Norway. There, he learns that Madeleine has a five-year-old daughter, Mathilde Swann, whom she claims is not his. Madeleine then confesses to Bond that the Safin family is from Kazan. Lyutsifer's father was named Gostan and was a rich pharmaceutical entrepreneur. Lyutsifer inherited his empire after his death. And Mr. White poisoned the Safin family and he scarred Lyutsifer’s face and sparing his life and he allowed SPECTRE to take control of "The Poison Garden", Safin continues his plan for revenge as he, Ash, and their men are on their way to capture Bond, Madeleine, and Mathilde. Though Bond manages to kill Ash and Safin's men, Safin successfully captures Madeleine and Mathilde. Q, Bond, and Nomi locate Safin on a World War II base on an island between Japan and Russia. They use a plane to infiltrate Safin's headquarters and learn that he plans to use the nanobots as a biological weapon to kill millions of people on the planet so that Safin can take over the world. Nomi takes Obruchev hostage while Bond searches for Safin, who has Mathilde with him as its hostage. Bond shoots Safin's guards, but Safin escapes. Mathilde escapes from Safin and reunites with her mother, Bond, and Nomi. Nomi, Madeleine, and Mathilde escape by boat, while Bond stays behind to open the island's missile silos, which would aid a missile strike from a British warship to destroy the nanobots. Bond and Safin fight, during which Safin shoots Bond several times and infects him with nanobots programmed with the genetic code of Madeleine and Mathilde. Bond kills Safin and opens the silos. Speaking by radio with Madeleine, Bond tells her he loves her and encourages her to move on without him, and she confirms that Mathilde is his daughter. Bond smiles in the realisation Mathilde is his daughter. He dies as the missiles hit the island, destroying the nanobot factory and the virus. At MI6, M, Moneypenny, Q, Tanner, and Nomi drink in Bond's honour. Elsewhere, Madeleine takes Mathilde to Matera and tells her the truth about her father. Background On 14th March 2018, British director Danny Boyle confirmed plans to handle directorial duties for No Time To Die, during a screening of the filmmaker's 2018 television series Trust. Boyle confirmed that collaborative partner, John Hodge, is "currently expanding an idea the pair had for 007 into a script."[11] Boyle previously directed Happy & Glorious, a short film starring Daniel Craig as 007, produced by the BBC as part of the 2012 Summer Olympics opening ceremony. The news was subsequently officially confirmed by MGM,[12] with production officially set to begin on December 3rd, 2018.[12] However, on 21st August 2018 it was announced Boyle had pulled out due to "creative differences"[13]. On 14th September 2018, reports emerged that veteran writers Neal Purvis and Robert Wade were rehired to produce a new script for No Time To Die[14]. On 20th September 2018, it was officially announced that Cary Joji Fukunaga was confirmed to direct No Time To Die, taking over from Boyle. It was also announced that the film's release date would be pushed back to 14th February 2020, with filming commencing on 19 March 2019.[1][15] On February 15, 2019, it was announced that the release date was again pushed back to 8 April 2020 in order to give Fukunaga more time.[16] On 20 August 2019, the title of Bond 25 was revealed to be No Time to Die.[17] In the same year, Aston Martin confirmed that the DB5 and the V8 Vantage Volante will return, and they will be joined by the DBS Superleggera and the Valhalla, making their Bond debuts. On 4 March 2020, the release date for No Time to Die was pushed back again to 12 November 2020 in the United Kingdom and 25 November 2020 in the United States, due to the coronavirus pandemic. On 13 June 2020, the release date in the United States was moved up by 5 weeks to 20 November. However, on October 2, 2020, the film was again delayed, this time to April 2, 2021 in the United States and an uncertain date in 2021 in the United Kingdom.[16] On January 21, 2021, it was delayed again to October 8, 2021, for the United States.[9] On February 24, the UK release date was pushed forward a week.[8] On April 3, 2021, it was reported that Daniel Craig is planning a worldwide tour of the film in place of the red-carpet premieres that normally accompany such a film.[18] On August 20, 2021, it was announced that the film had been delayed until November 11, 2021 in Australia, but that MGM was adamant it had no plans to further delay release in core markets.[19] The film had its star-studded world premiere on Tuesday, September 28, 2021. The premiere was attended by Duchess Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, sporting a shimmering golden gown with cape. Also present were the Princes William and Charles.[20] Music On January 6th 2020, Variety reported that composer, Hans Zimmer, would be replacing Dan Romer, who had previously been announced as scoring the film. "Creative differences" were cited to have been the reason for Romer's dismissal.[5] A week later, on January 14th, the producers officially announced that the film's theme song would be penned by American sibling songwriters, Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell.[6] To date, Eilish is the youngest artist in history to write and record a James Bond theme song.[6] Casting In April 2017, actor Daniel Craig mentioned he was open to returning for a final Bond film.[21] Speaking on American talk show The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on August 15 2017 Craig ended speculation and confirmed he would play Bond for a fifth and final time. Craig's renewed enthusiasm for the role marks a change of mind after comments he made in 2015, which he explained as the product of exhaustion.[10][22] Despite also making comments to the contrary in October 2017[23], Christoph Waltz was confirmed as reprising his role as Blofeld in the first trailer.[24]. In April 2019, it was confirmed that Academy Award-winning actor, Rami Malek, had signed on to portray the villain, Safin.[25] In the official conference of April 2019 was confirmed[26], the rest of the cast Ana de Armas as Paloma,[27] Billy Magnussen, Dali Benssalah, David Dencik and Lashana Lynch. It has been confirmed that Léa Seydoux will reprise her role as Madeleine Swann, Naomie Harris as Miss Moneypenny, Ralph Fiennes as M, Ben Whishaw as Q, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner, and Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter. Distribution Following the 2015 release of Spectre, Columbia Pictures' four-film contract to market and distribute the James Bond films officially expired.[28] While MGM and EON Productions are the studios responsible for producing the 007 movies neither of them is a distributor; hence necessitating a partnership with another studio that has that ability. Reportedly, Sony, Warner Bros, Annapurna, Fox and Universal are all pursuing distribution rights to the franchise, valued at between $2bn and $5bn £ according to Hollywood Reporter.[29][30] Notably, MGM and EON are only offering a one-film contract to the victor.[28] On 23rd May 2018, it was confirmed that Universal Pictures had won the rights to internationally distribute No Time To Die, with MGM releasing the film in the United States through a partnership with Annapurna Pictures.[7][7] On May 26, 2021, MGM was purchased by Amazon, however, it was widely reported that the service had no plans to pull upcoming James Bond films, including No Time to Die, from theaters in favor of a streaming release.[31] Tim Richards, of Vue, the third-largest theater chain, reported that more advance tickets for No Time to Die were sold in 24 hours than what they sold for Spectre in a month. theaters were reported to have hired extra staff to cope with the increased demand. The film was released for digital rental beginning on October 9, 2021 through all major services. The release came after only approximately one month of the film being in theaters and is suggested to be a result of muted response among older audiences due in part to the COVID-19 pandemic.[33] The film was released on home video on December 21, 2021 on DVD, Blu-ray and Ultra HD Blu-ray. The special features include the following - Anatomy of a Scene Matera, Keeping It Real, The Action of No Time to Die, A Global Journey and Designing Bond. One additional special feature, Being James Bond, is a 4K Ultra HD exclusive.[34] Reception Reception to No Time to Die among critics has been overwhelmingly positive. As of the evening of October 10, 2021, the film holds a 84% Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes with 294 reviews, and a out of 10 average rating. Among those whom the site considers Top Critics, the film holds a rating of 81% fresh from 66 critics, but with a slightly higher average rating of out of 10. The site's Critics Consensus feature states that "It isn't the sleekest or most daring 007 adventure, but No Time to Die concludes Daniel Craig's franchise tenure in satisfying style."[35] Joe Morgenstern of the Wall Street Journal stated that "The new installment is exciting for its energy and scale, despite its flaws and derivative themes, and makes a lovely valediction for its star."[36] Mick LaSalle of the San Francisco Chronicle, in one of the most glowing reviews of the film, stated that "Craig leaves the series in a mammoth, 163-minute extravaganza that audiences will be enjoying for decades. It's a lovely thing to see."[37] On Metacritic, the film holds an overall score of 69, indicating "generally favorable reviews."[38] By the morning of Sunday, October 10, 2021, No Time to Die had soared past the $300 million mark at the box office, with over $50 million in domestic sales. It was reported to have had the best IMAX opening since Star Wars The Rise of Skywalker and was reported to have already become Universal's fourth ever highest grossing film in the United Kingdom.[39] As of November 21, 2021, No Time to Die had become the highest-grossing Hollywood movie of the COVID-19 pandemic, having crossed $700 million in global box office.[40] In November 2021, it was rumored by the publication Variety that despite the film's enormous box-office success, it had actually lost MGM over $100 million due to the film's high budget. MGM, however, denied this, stating in response that the film was turning a profit thanks to both a strong box office haul and "stellar home viewing" run. They furthermore stated that "Unnamed and uninformed sources suggesting the film will lose money are categorically unfounded and put more simply, not true."[41] The film has been nominated for Academy Awards in the categories of Sound, Visual Effects and for the film's title theme song.[42] The film's "[[No Time to Die songNo Time to Die" song previously won a Grammy award in 2021, the first ever win for a song from a film yet to be released at the time of the awards.[43] Cast & characters Additional cast Lisa-Dorah Sonnet as Mathilde Swann Coline Defaud as Young Madeleine Swann Hugh Dennis as Dr. Hardy Priyanga Burford as Dr. Symes Amy Morgan as Alison Smith Lizzie Winkler as Sarah Jones Brigitte Miller as Dr. Vogel Hayden Phillips as Sir Sebastian D'ath Crew Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga. It is the first and only Daniel Craig Bond film to not be co-distributed with Sony Pictures Releasing under their Columbia Pictures label. This is the fourth film to use the word "die" in its title, with the other three being Die Another Day, Tomorrow Never Dies and Live and Let Die. The song used during the closing credits is "We Have All The Time In The World" as performed by Louis Armstrong. This song was originally used as a secondary theme for the film On Her Majesty's Secret Service. The use of the song in the film reflects a conversation had by James Bond and Madeleine Swann when they are out on a drive together. Swann asks Bond to go faster, but Bond tells her that they don't need to, that they have all the time in the world. Later, at the end of the film, Bond tells Swann that she has all the time in the world. Discounting the James Bond Theme and the "secondary" theme 007, it is the only original-to-Bond song to be featured in more than one film, and the first John Barry composition to appear in a Bond film since 1989. James Bond films have featured some of the greatest stunts in cinema history. From the corkscrew car jump in 1974’s The Man with the Golden Gun to the dam bungee jump in 1995’s Goldeneye to the record-breaking Aston Martin DB9 rollover during 2006’s Casino Royale, the 007 series has pushed the boundaries of movie stunts. The upcoming Bond film No Time To Die raises the bar yet again. In a chase sequence early in the film, Agent 007 steals a Triumph Scrambler and tears through the town of Matera, Italy. Bond leaps the motorcycle two stories, over a stone wall, and lands in the town’s cobblestone square. The stunt crew completed the No Time To Die motorcycle jump in real life, thanks to their secret ingredient Coca-Cola. At the end of 2015’s Spectre, James Bond Daniel Craig and Madeleine Swann Léa Seydoux climb into his 1964 Aston Martin DB5 to enjoy an overdue vacation. No Time To Die catches up with the couple in Matera, Italy–as do the bad guys. Agent 007 flees them on foot, until he can commandeer a Triumph Scrambler 1200. Astride the Triumph, James Bond attempts to return to Madeleine and retrieve his trusty DB5. With no other choice, he runs the bike up a stone staircase, then jumps two stories, over a wall, and sticks the landing in the Matera village square. The incredible jump figured prominently in the No Time To Die trailers. James Bond fans near the set even captured video of the film crew completing the stunt in Italy. Though this leap captured the world’s attention, few knew just what was required to pull it off. A Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE made the No Time To Die motorcycle jump RELATED James Bond Drives A Toyota In No Time To Die’ Lee Morrison has been the stunt coordinator for all of Daniel Craig’s James Bond films. Morrison said of the No Time To Die motorcycle stunts, “We needed to find bikes that were going to be very capable.” Morrison explained why his stunt riders are so picky, “The guys pushing those to the absolute limit, they needed to be 100% confident in the bikes They weren’t going to misfire, they weren’t going to stall, they weren’t going to break.” The motorcycle that Morrison and the crew selected was the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE. The Triumph Scrambler has a 1200 cc two-cylinder engine that makes 81 lb-ft of torque and 89 horsepower. Furthermore, the top-of-the-line XE adds Ohlins remote-reservoir adjustable shocks, Brembo brakes, and 6 adjustable riding modes. Morrison concluded, “Riding the Triumph motorcycles, they handled the terrain amazingly.” The Triumph company even produced a 250-model limited Bond Edition Scrambler to commemorate No Time To Die. James Bonds Triumph Scrambler 1200 at the World Premiere of “NO TIME TO DIE” Tristan Fewings/Getty Images for EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Universal Pictures The stunt rider who completed the No Time To Die motorcycle jump is named Paul Edwards. Morrison’s crew built Edwards a 25-foot wooden ramp. Edwards had to hit the ramp at nearly 60 mph to clear the cliff below the village square. Landing the jump in the middle of the square posed another challenge. The medieval cobblestones were worn smooth, far too slippery for a safe landing. Luckily Morrison had a trick up his sleeve–or in his fridge. The stunt coordinator revealed, “I’ve been spraying Coca-Cola on slippery surfaces for a very long time.” Coca-Cola works well for stunts because it is sticky enough for tires to grip. In addition, it will not damage heritage sites such as the Matera village square. Morrison explained that Coca-Cola even “makes things look very clean after it washes off.” How much does it cost to douse an Italian village in Coca-Cola? Morrison estimates he spent 60,000 Euros “spraying Coca-Cola around Matera.” That’s approximately $70,000. But the James Bond franchise isn’t hurting for money experts estimate No Time To Die’s budget was $250 million. Maybe Jason Bourne uses the supermarket Cola brand for his big stunts, but James Bond must have the best. According to The Mirror UK, MGM and the film's producers are keen to host the premiere on a grand scale at a large stadium in London like the Wembley Arena. A source told the media outlet that those behind the scenes think that they can pull off the biggest in-person movie premiere in the post-pandemic era and the event in England will signal the return of such flashy movie launches that were missing last year. The source further revealed that the makers are looking at the biggest venues in London starting from Wembley and have also talked with Staples Center in Los Angeles for the US premiere. He added that the Bond team and MGM always wanted the movie to launch with a red carpet event and this was one of the reasons why they were okay with the delays happening. Register LOS ANGELES, Oct 10 (Variety.com) - "No Time to Die," the latest installment in the James Bond franchise, debuted to $56 million at the domestic box office, a result that fell somewhat
Despite the hype around the 25th film of James Bond- 'No Time To Die' got a lacklustre response at the US box office as it debuted at $56 million. Trade pundits state that the film fell somewhat short of expectations and signalled that even one of the most storied brands in film history is still being forced to contend with a moviegoing landscape that has been dramatically altered by the pandemic. 'No Time To Die' was expected to make around $60 million to $70 million in its first three days of release. The film's box office earnings cannot be termed as a disaster as it made only slightly less than what pundits had predicted. Moreover, the film received mostly positive reviews by US critics as they stated that the film presented Daniel Craig's final outing as the stylish secret agent. In light of the ongoing pandemic, assessing initial box office results for 'No Time to Die' isn`t as clear cut. For some movies, especially during a public health crisis, an opening weekend of $56 million would be cause for great jubilation. But 'No Time to Die' is no ordinary film. 'No Time To Die' review Daniel Craig bows out with a bang It carries a massive $250 million production budget, to say nothing of the more than $100 million marketing spend. Add in the tens of millions it cost to delay 'No Time to Die,' which was supposed to premiere in April of 2020 before the pandemic altered those plans, and box office experts estimate that, conservatively, 'No Time to Die' needs to gross at least $800 million at the global box office to make money in its theatrical window. For Bond, the franchise has numerous marketing partners and ancillary tie-ins, with Rolex, Aston Martin and more, that could help cushion potential losses. Outside of the US 'No Time to Die' has done remarkably well and has already garnered an impressive $145 million. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, the 007 adventure has opened in most major markets except for China set for Oct. 29, which is a popular territory for all things Bond. Globally, the film has collected $313 million. In the US, the slightly muted results for 'No Time to Die' are attributable to several factors, including hesitation among older audiences to return to the movies and its lengthy two-hour-and-45-minute runtime, which limited the number of screenings per day. Also see James Bond keeps his date as 'No Time To Die' finally premieres in London It`s also the first Hollywood tentpole with real competition at the box office. Sony`s comic book sequel 'Venom Let There Be Carnage' opened last weekend and has continued to pull in crowds, which may have affected ticket sales for Bond. With 'No Time to Die' claiming the No. 1 spot on domestic box office charts, the 'Venom' follow-up slid to second place with $32 million, a figure that`s more than many pandemic-era releases have made in their entire theatrical run. In total, 'Venom Let There Be Carnage' has generated a mighty $141 million in North America and $185 million worldwide. Who will be the next James Bond? Listen and subscribe Apple Podcasts Spotify Stitcher Pocket CastsConceived in the 1950s and first put to film in 1962, James Bond is in many ways a relic of the past. A Cold War vision of white male fantasy, Bond has had to evolve over the franchise’s six decades, beyond the sexism and racism that marked the character’s influential early chapters. Now, with the release of No Time to Die and the end of the Daniel Craig era, the series is at a crossroads. Who will play the next Bond? But more important, what is James Bond going forward? On The Atlantic’s podcast The Review, our staff writers Sophie Gilbert, David Sims, and Shirley Li discuss No Time to Die and Bonds both future and past. The trio also share who they want the next Bond to be, why Q is Shirley’s underrated Bond king, and why David considers the Bond franchise “the most influential action movies ever made.”This episode was produced by Kevin Townsend and edited by following transcript contains spoilers for No Time to Die. It has been edited for length and Gilbert This movie was originally planned for a November 2019 release, and it has been billed as the savior of cinemas post-pandemic. What does Bond mean that he’s so big as a franchise that he is the character that can singlehandedly save cinema?David Sims As much as the box office has been rebounding and people are going to see movies, it’s mostly been movies that appeal to younger men. That’s been the demographic that came back first. And I like seeing the superhero movies, but Bond has famously always pulled every demographic. There’s a sort of eternal generational appeal for this almost-60-year-old Li We’ve become so attuned to what makes a Bond film a Bond film. I was listening to one of the [movie’s] writers talk about [how] you can just have a man walk in and gaze at a car. And in any other movie, that would not be a moment that would get the audience going. But in a Bond film, you kick in with the music and This is not any man; this is not any car. You can get an assured reaction from the audience, and I think that says it all about what Bond An eternal What were your hopes for this movie?Li I was really nervous going into this Bond, because I have loved the Daniel Craig movies. They billed this one as a swan song, so I wanted it to be emotionally satisfying. And I wanted everything I [always] want from a Bond film for it to feel classic, for it to be slick, for it to be tragic, and for it to feel big. And it delivered that for me on all fronts. I have my small nitpicks, but it felt like a prestige The thing that I didn’t know I wanted from it until I got it was a certain level of corniness. I’m an older Millennial, so I came of age with the Roger Moore Bond movies. The kind of ludicrousness of those has always been the defining Bond hallmark for me. And while I have loved the Craig series—the emotional arcs, the development of Bond, and the complication of the character—they have been fairly serious. Skyfall, especially, was pretty bleak. And in Spectre, everyone just seemed so what I loved from No Time to Die is that it seemed fun again. And silly! Like, very, very silly. There’s a giant evil lair in the middle of the ocean. There are henchmen, and stupid plots that make no sense, and weird people harvesting things with neon lights. I really enjoyed that the series finally was able to say, “Yes, we have fundamentally transformed this character. But at the same time, we are acknowledging and honoring some of the things that made you enjoy him in the first place.”Sims What I wanted from this movie, most of all, was a satisfying Bond finale for the character, which has never happened. Each actor in the role has exited on their worst movie Diamonds Are Forever, A View to a Kill, Die Another Day ... Usually, the actor would do one too many. They’d seem a little tired in the role and the formula would seem a little in need of a refresher. And that is what Spectre felt felt like they were overreaching with the serialization, which had been the hallmark of the Craig Bond. They were overreaching with this evolution of the character and Craig didn’t seem very into it, like you say. So my whole fear [was that] it’s just another goodbye to a good actor, but in a kind of lame way. And I don’t think this is a perfect movie, [but] I was mostly just happy that it seemed like everyone sort of came to this one with a little more enthusiasm for doing this a little more The thing I find so funny about Bond as a character, and maybe this is legend, but Ian Fleming reportedly wrote the character when he was about to get married to his pregnant girlfriend. And it was part of his freak-out because he was about to give away his independence, I guess. And so to satisfy his impulses, he wrote this lothario adventure Yes, he was this kind of quiet, retiring type. And Bond was his raging id. And Fleming was pretty upfront that Bond is not exactly He’s a fantasy. But the thing that’s so fascinating that you just mentioned He is a fantasy that people can universally enjoy. Like, he is this sort of white male fantasy, like, in the way that Bruce Springsteen is. But at the same time, your mom, David, is going to see this movie. And my mom is watching them, and we’re all enjoying them. So, what is it about this character? What are we drawn to?Sims It’s partly Daniel Craig. That’s certainly what drew my mother back to James Bond movies. Obviously she’s seen the Sean Connery movies, but she didn’t have much interest in Pierce Brosnan. But Daniel Craig’s whole fleshed-out actor-y take versus the familiar Bond was very intriguing, and I think it was intriguing to a lot of people. And obviously, starting with Casino Royale helps, because we actually have a starting point with this guy rather than him walking as the complete James Bond we’ve always known, which is usually how these movies would do movies usually have the fear that [after recasting] the guy, they need to make the audience feel comfortable that this is still Bond. It’s still the thing they like. He needs to walk in. He needs to say his name in a certain way. He needs to order the right drink. And the Craig movies kind of thumb their nose at that a little bit, and it was a really good gamble. The problem is, I don’t know what you do next, because you can only have the shock of that once. I don’t know what the next reboot can be. I guess it would be not casting a white person, but I don’t know if that’s what they’ll So in Britain, we love to gamble on who will be the next James Bond, and the odds are forever changing. The favorite right now is Tom Hardy, followed by James Norton, and then Regé-Jean I have a lot of opinions on British betting on James Bond. They always make the favorite someone who has a very similar profile to the current Bond. Tom Hardy would be another Daniel Craig type; casting a stouter, tougher guy with Oscar nominations and with a lot of credibility—that’s the Daniel Craig move. Hardy is probably a little a little old for it at this point, which is my guess why they won’t do Brosnan, Clive Owen was always seen as the next Bond. And then by the time they got around to it, he was a little old and they passed him over. And the whole time with the Daniel Craig, people have thought, Well, Idris Elba—there’s your next Bond. There’s your update for the series. And now Idris Elba is almost 50 and, again, did a perfect guy just sort of miss the window?Li The thing about Bond, though, is that it’s malleable enough that we can imagine all these different possibilities for him versus the other franchises, where it’s completely dependent on one person continuing, like Tom Cruise [in the Mission Impossible movies], or dependent on one-upping itself, like the Fast and Furious Well, my campaign is for Dev Oh hell think he is the right level of famous, where he’s famous but he’s not exactly going to overwhelm the role. He’s the right age. He’s a different choice, but he’s also so Do you guys think there is any chance that it will be Lashana Lynch, who plays Nomi in No Time to Die, 007’s replacement after Bond retired?Sims Maybe they’ll want to spin her off, but the whole continuity around Craig feels done. Ben Whishaw as Q, Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomi Harris as Moneypenny … It feels like they’re probably going to need to get rid of all of it because they killed James Bond in this movie! And so it would be tough to have another person walking into being, like, “Well, I’m James Bond.” They broke the unwritten Yeah, but Bond has always been in this parallel universe anyway, where Spectre is basically all of communism, and you have Sean Connery donning yellowface in You Only Live Twice. All of that now feels very dated, but what has continued is the way he presents himself. It’s the look, the charisma. This guy is cool and smart, but not a nerd. He uses gadgets. He drives cool cars. I think the biggest thing Hollywood took out of Bond was this avatar of masculinity, and you can’t talk about Bond without talking about the way the Bond girls were treated. And that was the challenge that these films And Daniel Craig has not been one of the more womanizing Bonds, but there is that scene in Skyfall that I really hate with Bérénice Marlohe’s character, Sévérine. Bond follows her onto a boat, knowing that she is a victim of sex trafficking and [has been] held prisoner by a terrible man. He has sex with her, and then the next day she gets shot and dies. That is sort of a canonical summary, like, This is what happens to women in Bond movies. It’s not good. It’s not progressive. It’s not nice. And I think the movies took a lot of flak for that and have not made that mistake And Craig himself has also come out and said that Bond is misogynistic. And Cary Joji Fukunaga, the director of No Time to Die, said the Sean Connery Bond was “basically” a We think a lot about the Bond movies and their influence upon each other. What has that influence been on Hollywood writ large?Sims I think they’re the most influential action movies ever made, especially From Russia with Love and Goldfinger, which are the second and third Connery movies, and the two sides of Bond movies. One is realistic and really a spy thriller with more character focus. Then the other is goofy and has lots of fun with gadgets, Oddjob, and lasers. Put that all together and that’s what people like about James Bond. They combine travel set pieces, innovative ways to choreograph fights, gunfire, and car chases. They sort of set the tone for how Hollywood made after Connery, the Bond movies have always sort of been playing catch-up. The first Moore movie is Live and Let Die, which is very inspired by blaxploitation movies. Moonraker was this response to Star Wars. For Your Eyes Only was them being like, “OK, no one liked Moonraker, too goofy. Let’s go back to basics.” [Then you have] Timothy Dalton, a darker Bond sort of influenced by Batman. Then with Pierce Brosnan, they have M call him a sexist dinosaur, but he basically behaves the same way as he always has. And then for the Craig movies, it’s, “Let’s make a more emotional Bond. Let’s make a Bond with a story. Let’s make a Bond who actually allows himself to be vulnerable by the end of his arc.” It’s this constant push and pull, and I don’t know what you give people One thing that I really loved about Casino Royale, more than anything else, is the relationship between Bond and Vesper. It’s so smoking hot. Their chemistry is insane—the scene when they’re in the shower together, which sounds dirty, but they’re fully clothed. She’s traumatized because she’s just seen him brutally murder a man. It’s just … They are such a fundamentally brilliant screen pairing in that they just smoke up the screen, and I think that made it a little harder to accept Madeleine Swann in later movies as the great love of Bond’s life. Because you and I, and maybe Bond too, cannot move on from It’s sort of hard to deny it. Léa Seydoux is a very, very talented and appealing actress. She does her best—and she and Craig have chemistry—but it’s tough to get over Eva Green is incredible, but I think the problem here was Spectre. Its introduction of Léa Seydoux as Madeleine Swann really hurt that character, and that was something that you could not get rid of. Compare the scene where she meets Bond versus the scene where Vesper meets Bond. [Spectre] just has this coldness. The character is supposed to be enigmatic, but in making her such a mystery, you don’t have this crackling chemistry right off the bat. And I think that really hurt that The other problem that Madeleine Swann has—and she had this problem in Spectre—is she’s so bound up in the plot of the film that a lot of the story stakes just have to run through her, much like last time, where she’s the daughter of a previous villain, Mr. White. A lot of her time on screen is invested in that business and so it’s just a little Talking about the chemistry, though, I did get more emotional watching Q say goodbye to Yes! This was one of my nitpicks with this Oh, say more!Li Q is my underrated Bond And do you mean Ben Whishaw as Q specifically, or do you mean the character?Li Ben Whishaw is wonderful. I do enjoy his performance, and I do think that going with a younger Q is a really great call, but I mean the character of Q. We leave Q’s final interaction with Bond cut short, and it ends with Q calling himself an idiot. I recognize this is a shallow dig. I just I want more from Q. Laughs.Gilbert Laughs. I think Cary Joji Fukunaga is still going to sleep at night, if that’s your Q was played by Desmond Llewelyn for basically a bajillion years. We all know who Q was. He endured through pretty much all the way to Brosnan. John Cleese took it for a brief and ill-advised moment, but let’s not talk about that. And then you have Ben Whishaw, who’s enormously overqualified for the role, obviously. He is a stratospheric British talent, and it’s kind of jarring to imagine Q as a real person, and not just someone who just sort of stands frozen in a lab until James Bond enters the room. And he’s like, “Alright, here’s how the watch works, you silly man.”Li Yeah, Sean Connery rolls his eyes at Q, this old nerd, and I just feel so much for Q. He leads Q Branch. He has to create all this crap for this This child. This overqualified He never brings the car back! Never, ever, ever brings the whole car The best Q bit is with Brosnan and the big sub Q is always the punch line. And they’ve developed this Q to a point where there’s so much emotion between these two characters, and you feel it. And then he calls himself an idiot. And I’m like, No, Q, you’re not an idiot. Anyway, that’s one of my nitpicks. My other one is not as would like to see future Bond films present villains who are not scarred so heavily that deformity becomes coded as villainy. That’s something that has certainly carried itself from the original films up to this point. We could really rethink the look of villains, so that they’re not just scarred and deformed and we code that as negative and A classical Ian Fleming trope. He loved a scarred villain. And I remember Christopher McQuarrie, who directed the recent Mission Impossible films, talking in an interview about one of his approaches to making those movies He goes to the trailer makers and asks what kind of imagery they want that would sell this movie. He’ll crowbar it into the film and then get to do whatever he wants around it. And they would give him things like a woman’s leg coming out of a car and a villain with a facial deformity, things like that. It’s this shorthand that is baked into spy movies that might be good to move And there are shorthands baked into Bond movies we’ve moved past before. I mentioned the yellowface of You Only Live It’s so insane. And it’s so insane in You Only Live Twice because it’s racist, but also … it’s supposed to work? Sean Connery is supposed to be plausibly Japanese? What?Li And the films have also moved past when he forces himself onto Pussy Galore in Goldfinger, who is supposed to be a lesbian, and who the book contends he “converts.” And so the films have moved beyond these awful tropes of the past, but somehow villains still must have facial Something new this movie did was its ultimate revelation that not only is Madeleine Swann the great love of Bond’s life; she is also the mother of his child. And it did seem kind of ironic and fitting that this character who has so mistreated women in the past now very fleetingly gets to know that he has a daughter. David, you and I both had daughters in the past 18 months, and for most of the movie, I was laughing, thinking about all the ways that my daughter would absolutely screw up Remi Malek’s Japanese The daughter’s best moments are her dropping her toy and never shutting up about it, and that weird moment where she’s like, “Do you think mosquitoes have brothers?” or whatever. Initially you’re wondering if this is going to tie into the plot, but then you realize, No, this is just realistic child-nonsense whole thing with giving an enduring character like this a kid is it’s basically never going to go over that well with the die-hard fans. Because the character has to stay the same. When they gave Superman a kid in Superman Returns, that wasn’t popular either. But the real problem is, to me, it just sort of signals that this is a one-off. We’re not going to have another James Bond movie where he drops his kid off at day care and is like, “Okay, I’m off to Azerbaijan.” It just wouldn’t work. I don’t mind the point of it all, which is to deepen this character, but she’s a little bit of a story The moment when I realized that he was absolutely going to die at the end of this movie was the moment when Rami Malek crushes the vial of … I’m sorry, we haven’t even gotten into the sighs nanobots...Li Laughs.Gilbert … in his hands that were tailored to his DNA, thus cursing Bond to never be able to touch or even kiss the love of his life and his child. That was the moment when it really seemed like, Okay, this is over, because there’s no coming back from that. This orphan who has apparently longed in his heart for a family has now found them and had them ripped from him within the space of about half an hour. I think it gave it a nice poetic finality for me.

JaguarXF. Since Jaguar and Land Rover merged in 2013, it's no surprise to see both car manufacturers represented in No Time To Die. During the trailer's opening chase through Italy, Bond and Swann in the DB5 are being pursued by a range of vehicles including the Jaguar XF, which seems to be the car of choice for professional guns for hire.
Though Daniel Craig’s final outing as James Bond won’t be one for box office record books, “No Time to Die” easily took the top spot in North America. Directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and co-starring Rami Malek, Lea Seydoux, Lashana Lynch and Ralph Fiennes, the latest 007 adventure debuted to $56 million over the weekend — a result that would have been more dazzling had the film not cost $250 million to produce and at least another $100 million to promote. Despite opening slightly behind expectations, “No Time to Die” marks a positive step forward for the movie theater business, which has struggled to rebound from the pandemic. With Bond’s assist, the overall box office collected $108 million between Friday and Sunday, according to Comscore, marking only the fourth weekend in the past 18 months to cross the $100 million benchmark. Box office experts predict that momentum from “No Time to Die” and Sony’s comic book sequel “Venom Let There Be Carnage,” which smashed pandemic records earlier in October, portends an especially busy fall and winter at the movies, at least, by COVID-19 standards. The box office may continue to ebb and flow between weeks, but for the first time in nearly two years, there’s a steady stream of buzzy films on the schedule. Throughout the rest of October and early November, movie theater marquees will feature “Halloween Kills” with Jamie Lee Curtis, director Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune” remake and Marvel’s “Eternals.” “Going forward, business will continue to build, but it will be uneven,” predicts David A. Gross, who runs the movie consulting firm Franchise Entertainment Research. “Three steps forward, two steps back.” Here are five takeaways from Bond’s latest box office mission 1. Older audiences aren’t ready to return to theaters Hollywood hoped Bond, a long-running franchise that has always been particularly popular among older crowds, would bring those moviegoers back in a bigger way after lukewarm ticket sales for “The Sopranos” prequel “The Many Saints of Newark,” Clint Eastwood’s Western “Cry Macho,” the Jessica Chastain-led biopic “The Eyes of Tammy Faye” and other offerings intended to appeal to audiences who are less interested in superhero spectacles. Moreover, executives and theater operators were counting on “No Time to Die” to inspire people to return for numerous awards hopefuls on the calendar later in fall, such as Wes Anderson’s “The French Dispatch” and Pablo Larrain’s Princess Diana drama “Spencer.” “No Time to Die” sold more tickets to moviegoers over 45 than any other pandemic-era movie, with 36% of ticket buyers over the age of 45 and 57% over 35. Yet the reality is that older audiences have been the most concerned about new variants of COVID-19 and, as a result, haven’t been as tempted to go to their local multiplex. Older audiences aren’t known to rush out on opening weekend, and reviews have been strong for “No Time to Die,” which could be a positive sign for the movie’s long-term prospects. “Older and family audiences are unlikely to return to full strength before the pandemic is completely behind us,” Gross says. There have been signs that may be improving, albeit slower than most would have liked. United Artists Releasing, the company distributing the film in the reported 25% of ticket buyers returned to theaters for the first time in more than 18 months for Bond. 2. Young men aren’t sweating variants Just like older audiences have been more or less absent from theaters, another consistency has been boys and men buying tickets in force. For “No Time to Die,” audiences skewed heavily male, representing 64% of ticket sales. That was also the case with “Venom Let There Be Carnage” $141 million in North America to date, “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” $212 million in North America to date, “Black Widow” $183 million in North America to date and “F9 The Fast Saga” $173 million in North America to date. Those properties all cater to younger audiences, which is likely why initial returns were higher than “No Time to Die.” The 25th Bond outing also faced steep competition from “Venom Let There Be Carnage,” which opened last weekend and continued to pull in strong numbers. It’s possible that moviegoers under 25 were more tempted to see Tom Hardy’s mischievous alien symbiote wreak havoc rather than watch Bond emerge from retirement. 3. It’s all about Imax When people have been going to cinemas, they have been opting to watch the latest blockbuster in the best quality possible. It makes sense, since box office charts have been led by spectacles that are filled with CGI and intricate action sequences. In the case of “No Time to Die,” premium large formats such as Imax, Dolby, 4DX and RealD contributed to 36% of overall ticket sales. Imax alone accounted for 13% of box office revenues with $ million domestically, marking the company’s biggest debut since “Aquaman” opened in December of 2018. “The combination of Imax technology and this iconic franchise has proven to be a winning one at the global box office, with audiences everywhere turning out to experience Cary Fukunaga’s immersive filmmaking as it was meant to be seen,” Megan Colligan, Imax Entertainment president, said in a statement. “Imax is reaching and even exceeding pre-pandemic global box office for September and October, which is a very exciting prospect given the upside ahead with audiences and blockbusters still returning to theaters.” Expect upcoming visual-effects heavy tentpoles like “Dune,” “Eternals,” Sony’s “Spider-Man No Way Home” and the Warner Bros. sequel “The Matrix Resurrections” to continue that trend. 4. An October to remember? Outside of Imax, moviegoing has hardly compared to pre-pandemic levels. Yet October, which isn’t a typically busy period at the box office, is shaping up to be stronger than historically lucrative summer months as audiences return to theaters. Thanks to the “Venom” sequel and “No Time to Die,” October has already outpaced May of 2021, the official start to summer blockbuster season, in overall ticket sales. It’s the first time, maybe ever, that has happened. Through its first 10 days, October has generated $269 million in receipts, while the entire month of May which saw the release of “A Quiet Place Part II,” “Cruella” and hardly any other compelling titles brought in $215 million. If “Halloween Kills” and “Dune” incentivize movie-watchers in droves, October could eclipse July $583 million, August $421 million and June $409 million to become the biggest month of the year. Whether or not it breaks records, it marks a notable improvement on the first quarter of the year with lackluster turnouts in January $64 million, February $56 million and March $116 million. “We are seeing numbers in October that we would normally see in the summer,” says Paul Dergarabedian, a senior media analyst with Comscore. “It’s going to be one of the more potent Octobers at the box office.” 5. James Bond may need to economize With 25 popular movies across six decades, Bond has cemented its place as a film franchise with few rivals. The property was a cornerstone of Amazon’s $ billion acquisition of MGM, the company that backs Bond. Universal Pictures distributes Bond internationally. That means although Craig has retired his black tux and signature martini, it’ll hardly be the last that audiences see of the coveted spy series. Though no upcoming projects have been announced, the Bond overlords are likely taking a hard look at how much money they will pump into the next 007 outing — whether on the big or small screen. For “No Time to Die,” $56 million to start is somewhat disappointing because it carries an enormous budget and will need to gross at least $800 million globally to get out of the red probably closer to $900 million. Box office experts predict the film will complete its domestic run with approximately $150 million, considerably short of its franchise predecessors, 2012’s “Skyfall” $300 million and 2015’s “Spectre” $200 million. In that case, “No Time to Die” will need to generate significant coinage at international box office, where it’s already amassed a strong $145 million. It has yet to open in China set for Oct. 29, which is a popular market for Bond. “No Time to Die” has grossed $313 million to date and may struggle to break even, at least in its theatrical run. “I don’t know that a future Bond property will have the same unique budgetary stressors this film had,” says Dergarabedian, referring to the tens of millions the studio had to spend delaying the movie due to the pandemic. “It takes a lot to offset those kind of costs. But audiences expect a certain level of production value from James Bond.” It’s true that Bond has become synonymous with extravagance, but there should be ways to reduce costs — and still deliver on style — to assure an easier path to profitability. Film buffs need to watch the latest movie if they want to experience an exciting, visually excellent, and powerful film with a great story and sleek characters. Find the top James Bond quotes from the 25th movie in the series here! 14 "Harder To Tell The Good From Bad, Villains From Heroes These Days." Felix Leiter says this thought-provoking quote in No Time to Die. He is a CIA intelligence operative who works alongside Bond in multiple films in the James Bond franchise. He is insanely smart and strategic and knows exactly what to do to get what he wants. Felix appears at the start of Bond's latest adventure and is chock-full of memorable quotes and wisdom. He muses on the difficulty of knowing who is doing the right thing versus who is fighting for the wrong reasons, considering that even his side could be wrong. He and Bond have witnessed many organizational wrongdoings over their complex life stories, having met many people claiming to be on their side but are ready to do anything, good or evil, for selfish gain. 13 "So You’re Not Dead?" These are Q's first words to James in the movie. Q hadn't seen him in years since he defected from MI6 after the events of Spectre. The irony of the quote is that Q knows Bond enough to know that he wouldn't die easily and was alive during his long disappearance. Q is anxious when Bond and Money Penny appear at his home while he's preparing for a date, unsure what wild schemes are occurring that would bring Bond "back to life" and into his private residence. Once Q is briefed on the situation, he is quick to find a solution, proving why he is such a valuable asset to the secret intelligence unit. 12 "James Bond. We Both Eradicate People To Make The World A Better Place. I Just Want To Be A Little Tidier." The main villain in the movie is Lyutsifer Safin, the one who said this quote. Safin has a very interesting view of the world he lives in. He is on a revenge rampage aimed at killing the entire Spectre organization for killing his family when he was young, and he is very successful in his goals. His face was left disfigured from his parent's death, which makes all of his lines even more chilling coming from his attacked, scarred visage. He calmly tries to connect with Bond and get him on his side to have one less enemy, trying to compare their life's work with each other. 11 "I Wasn't Looking Over My Shoulder." At the start of the film, James Bond is living a seemingly normal and comfortable life with his one true love, Madeleine Swann. They drive along the beautiful Italian coast and arrive at a small hillside town where Bond has a bit of unfinished business to attend to. As the couple walks up to their luxurious hotel room, Bond carefully inspects his surroundings, clearly stricken with a form of PTSD or simply major trust issues. Madeleine comforts and teases him, saying he can relax and doesn't have to always be looking over his shoulder. This scene demonstrates Bond's struggles with living a normal life, even after so much time out of his profession. 10 "We All Have Our Secrets, We Just Didn't Get To Yours Yet." Peace never lasts long for secret agent James Bond, with trouble and revenge brewing around every corner. After an unexpected attack from Spectre, James feels utterly betrayed by Madeleine, the only person who knew his current location. The coincidences were too overwhelming for the distrustful man to handle, leading him to pull Madeleine out of the resort in a frenzy. He hastily ushers her into his car, fleeing the onslaught of gunfire raining down upon them. He loses all trust in his partner and makes it clear by sending her on a train so that she could never see him again. 9 "I'm Not Just A Double 0. I'm 007." When James first meets Nomi, the secret agent who took his place during his 5 years off the grid, he doesn't know how to feel about her. She establishes her qualifications and status by letting him know that she is the new 007, and they hadn't decommissioned his number after he disappeared. This confirms that his leaving MI6 wasn't taken lightly and he was shamed for disappearing on them all those years ago. Bond and Nomi's relationship gets off to a rocky start, with quite a bit of apparent envy from both parties. Each acknowledges the strength and skills of the other, but they lack acting with respect and showing politeness towards each other. The two grow to admire each other as time goes on, but definitely not at the start of the film. 8 "Shaken, Not Stirred." In Cuba, Felix sets Bond up to meet with a new agent in the CIA named Paloma, played by Ana de Armas. The two set out on a mission to kidnap the already kidnapped russian scientist with a dangerous bioweapon, so they infiltrate a formal party where he is located. Before getting into any gunfights or danger, the two enjoy a quick drink at the bar. Of course, this allows Bond to say his all-time famous line that appears in every movie "Shaken, not stirred." Bond loves his neat martinis! 7 "Bond. James Bond." It wouldn't be a 007 movie without James stating his name in the most iconic way. However, in No Time To Die, James has to tell his name to a receptionist at his own former government agency where he spent so many years of his life, showing how he is now just a visitor, not a highly respected agent. It's a funny little moment, conveying Bond's unfamiliarity with people not knowing who he is in the spy world anymore after being out of service for so long. 6 "I Do Not Regret A Single Moment Of My Life That I Spent With You...Except Putting You On That Train." The romance in this film is top-notch. After reuniting with his true love so many years later, James is finally able to confess his feelings to Madeleine in her childhood home. He feels guilty for leaving her in the past, not trusting her enough to know that it wasn't her who turned on him. Bond always has such a way with words, telling Madeleine exactly what she needed to hear to accept him into her life again. It is beautiful to see how James Bond, the man who is supposed to make no mistakes, admits to making a huge one in his personal love life. 5 "History Isn't Kind To Those Who Play God." James knows all too well how villains end up when they wish to destroy the world. With too much power comes an eventual downfall, which is seen in the case of every single Bond villain. Outside of the books and films, the real world also backs up this quote. Huge leaders and politicians across our history have always found an unfavorable end when they get too power hungry. Bond warned the antagonist Safin, played by Rami Malek, about his eventual demise, having seen it happen too many times. 4 "Life Is All About Leaving Something Behind." When Safin and Bond are speaking on the private island, the evil villain holds young Mathilde in his arms, threatening to hurt her if Bond makes a move. He states that all humans want to leave something behind in the world when they die, like how Madeleine had a child who will live on after her death. Safin expands on this idea by discussing the legacy he wants to leave — which is something quite different. Rather than a child, Safin aims to leave unfathomable mass destruction by releasing the Heracles bio-weapon into the world. James, on the other hand, wishes to leave behind a better, safe world for his biggest loves, Madeleine and his daughter Mathilde. 3 "Do You Know What Time It Is? Time To Die." Nomi proves she got the title of 007 for a reason, escaping the terrorizing army of Safin's soldiers while holding the scientist as a hostage. She no longer has use of using the scientist as a human shield and finds herself standing over the deadly pool of Heracles particles. One final racially targeted comment from the scientists earns him a satisfying death as Nomi pushes him into the Heracles. Fittingly, she states the quote above as he falls to his death. Her role in the mission is nearly over, leaving James to finish everything once and for all. Nomi's character in the film was incredibly well done, portraying a unique yet exciting new person in a familiar, powerful role. 2 "I Have To Finish This...For Us."
